Sausage Gravy

I honestly am shocked I don't have this one up here already. This is by far my favorite gravy recipe because it's so simple. I usually add extra seasonings to it so my gravy isn't too boring, but this works really well.

1/4 lb Spicy bulk sausage
1/4 c All-purpose flour
2 c Milk
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Freshly ground pepper

Cook sausage in medium saucepan over medium heat until browned, stirring to crumble. Drain off all fat except about 2 tablespoons. Stir in flour. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Gradually whisk in milk, salt and pepper. Cook about five minutes longer, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
